So.. This easy delicious – comfy meals is committed to my pal Karan in Albuquerque NM. I needed sent her a pix of the plating sometime ago.. and she or he emailed me back saying – THATS exactly what her Mom use in making and she or he wasn’t sure how to get it done and that it was one among her favorite dishes growing up. So Karan my pal, this is for you!
Pretty easy! We are lucky to live near to a brand new produce stand, that Time passes to each and every chance I get!! They had these yummy new potatoes and fresh green beans, so I had to choose this meal. I served it with dinner rolls and that it was delicious!
Many people sprinkle within a little steak rub into this dish, be cautious about the salt. You could potentially squeeze in a smashed clove of garlic to that dish. This could be cooked in slow-cooker or on low within a pot for the stove. You serve this for a side or a principal dish. If you use pork chops ensure that the pork chops are done before serving. I don’t know why you couldn’t use cauliflower as opposed to potatoes just for this dish to lower the carbs. Would do this when cooking for the stove and hang cauliflower florets in the last 15 minutes or so.

SERVINGS : 6 Servings
- 2 pounds fresh green beans or 3 cans of regular green beans, drained
- 2 pounds ham, diced into chunks
- 4 potatoes, diced into medium chunks
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cups chicken stock or 2 cups of water
- salt and pepper, to taste
Dice the ham, green beans, onion, and potatoes. Drop all of the vegetables into your slow-cooker, add chicken stock or water, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 6 hrs on low.
Just bring all ingredients to a boil in a large stockpot and turn heat to low and cook for 30 minutes or until vegetables are cooked.
