Banana Bread Recipe Paul Hollywood | I bake banana bread regularly for assorted reasons; one, because it’s so easy, two, because it’s tasty, and three, due to there being nothing superior to a mug of thick hot chocolate to go with it. We’ve made other recipes for banana bread (or loaf, you’ll be able to call it what you want) in the past. You will see at least another two within this blog. And in all probability We’ve informed you those were a couple of my favourites. Well, I can include this one inch that list.
Banana Bread Recipe Paul Hollywood
You will see a really good one inch Paul Hollywood’s How to Bake (Bloomsbury, 2012). You will find a chocolate and walnut version of this below, which is actually identical to the version perfectly located at the book. Please be aware that the hem ebook version omits the chocolate. It’s a pity I did not bother to ascertain the online version before: it would sometimes make for the much prettier photo. But to not worry…fortunately I *always* have a small stash of chocolate in the pantry, for which I now have use!
The recipe in the hem ebook calls for:
- 3-4 large bananas, ripe and mashed
- 250g caster sugar
- 125g soft unsalted butter
- 2 eggs
- 250g plain flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 120g walnut pieces
Just follow the web link I’ve given you above for the method. What I did so was a bit different, because I needed to utilize up some chopped hazelnuts which as usual were bought for another recipe. (No surprise there!) I’d 3 very ripe bananas, 80g walnut pieces, topped the others with the hazelnuts, and added 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, unsure why. Perhaps because I usually do…Enjoy!
